The project involves migrating the Procurement portal system. This internal platform is designed for creating, editing, and searching procurement requisitions and is utilized by 8,000 AWS supply chain employees across 10 different departments globally. With the order submission rate growing by an average of 7.9% each year, the existing system struggles to handle the increased traffic, resulting in heavy loading times and error pages. Consequently, there has been a high volume of calls for engineers. Thus, there is a need for a new platform with an improved user experience for creating requisitions.
